About the role

We are looking for an Agent SDK Lead to own the SDKs that embed RevRag AI's in-app and Voice AI Agents directly into our customers' applications.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has built and shipped customer-facing SDKs used inside other companies' web and mobile apps, led a team of engineers across web, mobile, and backend, and worked in a product-led technology company (such as CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar) where SDK quality, stability, and developer experience are critical.

You will work closely with the Engineering Head and the AI team to define the architecture and roadmap for the Agent SDK across web, iOS, Android, Flutter, and React Native; build and lead the SDK team; and make it fast, reliable, and easy for our BFSI and fintech customers to integrate and run our agents in production.

Our SDK runs inside our customers' apps in front of their end users, so performance, stability, and security are core to the product.

SDK Architecture & Roadmap

  • Own the architecture, design, and roadmap of the Agent SDK across web and mobile platforms.
  • Design clean, stable, and well-documented APIs with strong versioning and backward compatibility.
  • Make pragmatic decisions on cross-platform versus native approaches, balancing quality and speed.

Lead the SDK Team

  • Lead and mentor frontend, mobile, and backend engineers working on the SDK.
  • Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, release, and documentation.
  • Hire and grow a strong, high-ownership SDK team.

Performance, Reliability & Security

  • Keep the SDK lightweight, fast, and stable across devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
  • Build real-time capabilities for in-app voice and chat agents with low latency.
  • Ensure strong security and data privacy practices, since the SDK handles customer and end-user data in regulated environments.

Developer Experience & Integration

  • Make integration simple with clear documentation, sample apps, and onboarding guides.
  • Work with customer engineering teams to integrate, debug, and optimize SDK deployments.
  • Build tooling for logging, diagnostics, and analytics so issues are found and fixed quickly.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the AI, backend, and product teams to deliver agent capabilities through the SDK.
  • Communicate roadmap, risks, and trade-offs to engineering leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with QA and DevSecOps on testing, release, and security of SDK builds.

Experience

  • 7-8 years of experience in software engineering, with strong experience building SDKs or embeddable products.
  • Experience at product-led technology companies such as CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar organizations.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers and delivering outcomes through others.
  • Track record of shipping and maintaining SDKs used by many customers in production.

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in at least one mobile platform (Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native) and strong working knowledge of web (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Strong understanding of SDK design, API design, versioning, and backward compatibility.
  • Experience with real-time communication (WebSockets, WebRTC, streaming) and asynchronous processing.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, app size, memory, and battery considerations.
  • Familiarity with backend services, APIs, and cloud environments.
  • Strong debugging skills across devices, platforms, and production environments.
  • Understanding of application security and data privacy practices.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong ability to mentor engineers and set a high technical bar.
  • Clear communicator who works well with engineers, product teams, and customer technical teams.
  • High ownership and good judgment in ambiguous situations.

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following will be highly valued:

  • Voice AI, real-time audio, or conversational interfaces.
  • LiveKit, WebRTC, or telephony integrations.
  • Building SDKs for BFSI, fintech, or other regulated industries.
  • SDK analytics, in-app messaging, or customer engagement platforms.
  • Contributions to open-source SDKs or developer tools.
