About the role
As an AI Engineer Intern, you will work on designing, testing, and optimizing AI-driven workflows, including LLM prompts, evaluation pipelines, and voice AI systems.
This role is focused on practical AI deployment, not academic research.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and improve LLM prompts for production use cases.
- Build and test AI workflows involving STT, TTS, and LLM components.
- Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and business impact.
- Build small automation pipelines for testing AI behaviors.
- Analyze edge cases and improve AI response quality.
- Work with backend engineers to integrate AI systems into products.
- Document experiments, findings, and improvements.
Technical Skills
- Strong fundamentals in Python.
- Understanding of APIs and basic backend concepts.
- Basic knowledge of LLMs and how they work.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate AI responses.
- Ability to experiment, iterate, and debug model behavior.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience using OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar APIs.
- Exposure to speech systems (STT and TTS).
- Basic understanding of embeddings and vector databases.
- Experience building small AI projects.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
